Ingredients
  

  • Ham
  • 1 fully cooked ham 6–8 lbs
  • Honey Glaze
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon optional
  • 1/2 tsp cloves optional

  • Roasting pan
  • Oven
  • Basting brush
  • Knife
  • Foil

Method
 

Preheat oven:
  1. Set oven to 325°F (165°C).
Prepare ham:
  1. Place ham in a roasting pan. Score the surface in a diamond pattern.
Make glaze:
  1. In a saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, butter, and spices. Heat until smooth.
Apply glaze:
  1. Brush half of the glaze over the ham.
Bake:
  1. Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 1.5 hours.
Glaze again:
  1. Remove foil, brush remaining glaze over ham.
Finish roasting:
  1. Bake uncovered for another 20–30 minutes until caramelized.
Rest & serve:
  1. Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Baste regularly for a richer glaze
Cover with foil if it browns too quickly
Let it rest before slicing for juicier meat
