Season the salmon:
- Pat salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat the pan:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the salmon:
- Place salmon in the pan and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the sauce:
- In the same pan, add garlic and sauté briefly. Then add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and ginger. Stir well.
Combine:
- Return salmon to the pan and spoon sauce over it. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until glazed.
Serve:
- Garnish and serve hot.
Notes
- Don’t overcook salmon—it should be flaky and moist
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor
- Pairs well with rice or vegetables
