Ingredients
  

Main
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ginger optional
Optional Garnish
  • Chopped parsley
  • Sesame seeds
  • Lemon slices

  • Large skillet or frying pan

Method
 

Season the salmon:
  1. Pat salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat the pan:
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the salmon:
  1. Place salmon in the pan and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the sauce:
  1. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté briefly. Then add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and ginger. Stir well.
Combine:
  1. Return salmon to the pan and spoon sauce over it. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until glazed.
Serve:
  1. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook salmon—it should be flaky and moist
  • Use fresh garlic for best flavor
  • Pairs well with rice or vegetables
